Derek Brian is an Account Manager and Trainer for SEAS Education. He has been employed with SEAS Education for the past ten years. Derek has been certified in the full SEAS Product Suites. Derek’s first roll at SEAS Education was as Customer Support in the Help Desk. He quickly moved to the rolls of Technical Writer and Requirements Analyst. In these positions he was responsible for writing and maintaining all internal and external documents, including Training Manuals, Release Notes and How-to Documents. He was also responsible for specifications for changes to the SEAS program as well as all writing specifications for reports. Due to Derek’s vast knowledge in the SEAS product he was then placed into the role of SEAS Account Manager. In this position, he is responsible for on-going customer support with the states he has been assigned. He also trains administrators, educators, and other users in the full SEAS product suite through onsite and online sessions. He analyzes user needs and communicates those needs to appropriate CAS associates to improve functionality and user friendliness. Derek has been a great asset to the SEAS Education Team.
