Wendy Rogers currently serves as an Educator in Residence with the Mississippi Department of Education in the Special Education Department. Wendy’s main role with MDE is to mentor new special education directors. Wendy has previously served as a Director of Special Services, High School Principal, Elementary Assistant Principal and Special Education Teacher. Wendy’s experience has been in the Stone County School District and the Petal School District. Wendy has a M.Ed. in Special Education, a M.Ed in Educational Administration, and a B.S. degree in Special Education all from the University of Southern Mississippi. Wendy is currently pursuing a PhD. in Educational Administration from Mississippi State University.
