About the Conference

SEAS Education is back for the second annual SEAS Mississippi Educational Conference. This two-day event is dedicated to general and special education teachers and administrators interested in improving their craft, learning the latest in the special education field, and earning professional development credits. Sessions will cover topics like behavior management, autism, dyslexia, IEP development and more. Any and all educators and education professionals in Mississippi are invited to attend!

SEAS Training Day

Thursday, June 15th

This day is dedicated to our SEAS users. Training sessions are available for staff and administrators using the SEAS IEP or Achieve program.

Session Day

Friday, June 16th

The session day will offer numerous breakout sessions covering a wide range of special and general education topics, plus our keynote presentation. Any and all educators and education professionals are welcome to attend!

MS Department of Education & SEAS

Several of our sessions will be presented by MS Department of Education staff. They’ve played a huge roll in helping us prepare this conference the past two years, making sure we’re bringing you relevant training topics. Here are some of the MS DOE speakers scheduled to present.

Credit Hours

CEU and SEMI credits will be awarded to attendees for both the training day and sessions day. Each day of the conference is worth 0.6 CEUs and/or 5 SEMI credits. If you attend the entire conference, you can earn 1.2 CEUs and/or 10 SEMIs. All attendees receiving credits must complete a follow-up survey via email after the event. More details on this survey and dates will be available at the conference.
